R. A. Dunbar Contact Lenses is an independent optical practice dedicated to all aspects of the fitting, supply and care of contact lenses. Established in 1980 as a contact lenses only practice, we continue to provide a specialised service to our patients and at extremely competitive prices, to include lens accessories, solutions and an unrestricted range of proven gas-permeable and soft lens types.

We provide various 'single use' 1-Day contact lenses, a choice of other disposable wearing routines, toric, tinted and bifocal (multifocal) options, through to highly complex lenses for the more difficult prescriptions. Roger Dunbar has fitted contact lenses in hospital eye clinics for over twenty years helping patients with various optical difficulties. We offer a friendly, efficient but responsible outlook to the use of contact lenses, which involves regular aftercare and continuing help and advice as contact lens technology improves our lives and expectations.
